Chainsaw Man chapter 183 recap
Chapter 183 begins with Denji regaining memories of a winter grave visit with Aki and Power (possibly due to him vomiting a “snow” devil back out).
He immediately pukes out another grotesque devil head. This time, Denji complains about its harsh flavor, urging him to jump into the nearby lake.
Shortly after, Denji recalls getting coffee with Reze, hinting at the devil’s “bitter” identity. This leads to him lamenting everything he’s lost, including his adopted sister Nayuta.
Denji questions how he was able to stay happy in the past. But then Pochita appears in the lake before him, making the teenager realize that his old friend was causing him to barf up memories of what mattered the most.
This reignites Denji’s will to live despite his trauma. After Asa pulls him out of the lake, a hopeful Denji forms a new plan to escape the Aging Devil’s dream world.
Despite not having powers, Denji can still barf out devils he’s consumed in the past, confirming a connection to Chainsaw Man’s stomach. This means Denji could potentially release the Nuclear Weapons devil and return with Asa–and everything in a three-mile radius–to the real world.
