After the first season, Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the anime’s first theatrical release, was released in Japan on December 24, 2021. The movie was then released worldwide a few months later.
Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a prequel to Season 1, which sheds light on the characters’ motives in Season 1.

The anime’s second season premiered on July 6 and is expected to have 23 episodes.
The show shifts its focus from the anime’s three young protagonists to the story of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto during their time at Tokyo Jujutsu High.
The second season will be split into two parts. The first cour is Gojo’s Past Arc, which will adapt volumes 8 and 9 from the manga.
The second cour focuses on the Shibuya Incident Arc, a major event mentioned in the previous season and JJK 0 movie.
