Despite initial skepticism, Mafuyu loses consciousness and mysteriously walks into the path of an oncoming train, resulting in a broken arm.

Admitted to Tenikai General Hospital, Dr. Sumida, her attending psychiatrist, dismisses any connection to the video, attributing Mafuyu’s condition to stress. Unconvinced, Kimura seeks a second opinion from Dr. Takanashi. Their discussion was overheard by Dr. Ameku which piqued her curiosity.

Intrigued, Ameku started an investigation, questioning Mafuyu and analyzing the supposed cursed video. The video is found to contain subliminal, grotesque flashing images capable of triggering epileptic seizures.

As they investigate, a call reports Kimura being admitted to the ER after falling down stairs while watching the same video. This led Ameku into a deep thinking state piecing together the evidence.

Ameku gathers everyone involved to present her findings. She explained that both twins have undiagnosed epilepsy, which is exacerbated by immense stress.

The subliminal flashes in the video act as a seizure trigger, causing the twins to experience unconsciousness and involuntary forward movement, leading to their injuries.
