Jujutsu Kaisen wins Anime of the Year 2024 and 10 other awards
This marks the second time that the franchise has claimed the Anime of the Year award. The first season of Jujutsu Kaisen secured this title in 2021 during the 5th Crunchyroll Anime Awards.
The award presentation was made by American rapper Megan Thee Stallion who adds a fitting touch, given her well-known admiration for the series.
JJK S2 dominated the event, securing a remarkable 11 awards out of 32 categories. These accolades include Best Supporting Character for Gojo Satoru, Best Action, Best Cinematography, Best Voice Artist Performance in Japanese by Yuuichi Nakamura as Gojo, Best Opening Sequence, and Best Ending Sequence.

This season is divided into two parts. The first cour delves into the Past Arc of Gojo, adapting volumes eight and nine from the manga.
The second cour, the Shibuya Incident Arc, is a significant event that was built up from the first season and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie.
