Chainsaw Man chapter 187 recap
The fight against the Aging Devil and Public Safety reaches a fever pitch as Pochita’s devil core pierces the cabal’s hideout. With Denji still stuck in the Aging Devil’s demiplane, he works up an appetite to provide near-limitless support to his devil counterpart.
Pochita’s heart lands beside the Aging Devil, who orders Public Safety to stomp it while they have the chance. The bleeding agents crawl towards it. But before they can destroy the devil heart, Denji pulls on his chest cord, returning Pochita back to form.
Pochita manages to land the first direct blow on the Aging Devil, ripping it apart in a shower of gore. However, it quickly regenerates and bizarrely thanks Chainsaw Man for the pain it inflicted before literally rooting him in place.
On the other side, Denji moves onto a different tree-person. Before he does, the mindbroken ex-hunter tries to stop him to no avail and calls the teenager a devil.
Meanwhile, Pochita continues to tear into the ancient devil, who stays indifferent. With their options growing thin, and Denji’s stomach full to bursting, he asks Pochita to vomit up “some kinda useful devil.”
