What is Chainsaw Man?
Chainsaw Man is a dark fantasy series created by Tatsuki Fujimoto. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump on December 3, 2018, and is still ongoing at the time of this writing.
The story revolves around Denji, a poverty-stricken teenager who bonds uniquely with Pochita, a dog-like Devil.
This pact grants Denji the extraordinary ability to transform parts of his body into chainsaws, leading him into the dangerous world of Devil Hunters. As a member of the Public Safety Devil Hunters, Denji fights against demonic threats that endanger Japan.
The series introduces a captivating world of intriguing characters, unexpected plot twists, and intense action sequences. The second arc shifts focus to Asa Mitaka, a high school student who enters a risky contract with the War Devil, setting the stage for a thrilling confrontation with Chainsaw Man.
