One Piece live action season 2 has officially been confirmed, and this exciting news has fans eagerly awaiting the portrayal of Tony Tony Chopper, the beloved reindeer character, in the adaptation.
Jaco Snyman, the Head of Prosthetics for the series, has provided insight into his initial vision for this challenging task, offering fans a glimpse of what to expect in the upcoming season.

Chopper in the One Piece live action season 2 poses prosthetic challenge for Netflix production team
Jaco hopes to “follow the same approach as with Arlong” when it comes to Chopper, speaking to Gamespot in an interview.
Jaco has an extensive background in Hollywood’s makeup department, having contributed to various notable projects such as Mad Max: Fury Road, District 9, and Bloodshot.
“I’m looking forward to working with Tony Tony Chopper,” he said. “That is the character that would be mostly prosthetics.”
This suggests that Netflix, Tomorrow Studios, and creator Eiichiro Oda may be considering practical effects for Chopper, similar to how they transformed American actor McKinley Belcher for his role as the villain Arlong in season 1.
It’s important to note that production for season 2 has not yet begun, and the plans for the live action adaptation of the reindeer character remain subject to change.

In terms of the storyline, OPLA season 2 is expected to continue from the conclusion of the East Blue Saga and cover the Arabasta Saga.
This is where Tony Tony Chopper and Nico Robin, the sixth and seventh members of the Straw Hat Pirates, will join the crew.
