What is Code Geass Roze of the Recapture about?
In the year 7 of the Kowa Period, the infamous “Nameless Mercenaries,” brothers Roze and Ash, hailed from the old Hokkaido region of the United States of Japan. Renowned for their undefeated record, they were the perfect strategic pair.
Their world was turned upside down when remnants of the Britannian royal family, the Neo Britannian Empire, reoccupied Japan. Led by Emperor Chalice al Britannia and his elite Knights of Einberg, the nation was isolated from the world by the impenetrable Situmpe Barrier.
Four years later, Roze and Ash answered the call of the UFN government to join the Black Knights’ Liberation Plan. Together with the resistance group, the Seven Shining Stars, they vowed to overthrow Neo Britannia and rescue Sakuya Sumeragi.
