Episode 9 of Dandadan opened with Okarun expressing shock when Aira transformed into Acrobatic Silky. A Serpoian immediately appeared, demanding Aira’s “banana organ.”

Aira faced off against the Serpoian and its boxing shrimp ally while Okarun retreated to a nearby classroom. During the fight, one Serpoian used psychic powers to slam Aira into a wall, reiterating its demand for her organ.

The boxing shrimp landed a devastating punch, knocking Aira into the classroom where Okarun was hiding. Rushing to her side, Okarun transformed and joined the battle.

The Serpoians combined their psychokinetic powers to trap Okarun and Aira in the “Awesome Zone,” a space they claimed made it impossible to stand or transform. The boxing shrimp was sent in to attack them while they were vulnerable.

Despite their claims, Okarun managed to transform and escape the Awesome Zone. As the Serpoians struggled to contain the situation, they were caught off guard by Momo’s sudden arrival, which disrupted their powers. This gave Okarun and Aira the chance to regroup with her.

However, Momo was startled by Aira’s transformation, noticing her resemblance to Acrobatic Silky. Taking advantage of the distraction, the Serpoians attacked Momo and resumed their psychic assault on Aira and Okarun.

One Serpoian injected the boxing shrimp with a mysterious substance, mutating it into a more dangerous form. As Aira and Okarun engaged the creature, Momo stepped in to help, but their teamwork faltered due to Momo’s jealousy over Okarun’s interactions with Aira.

Suddenly, water flooded the area, revealing the arrival of the aquatic creature Momo had encountered in the previous episode. Okarun recognized it as Nessie, the Loch Ness Monster.

Frustrated by Okarun and Aira’s perceived closeness, Momo swam away, leaving them to deal with the chaos. Meanwhile, Nessie obliterated one of the Serpoians with its powerful laser beam, intensifying the battle.

As Nessie wreaked havoc, the boxing shrimp—now called a “Mantisian” by Okarun—attacked Aira again. Okarun and Momo temporarily retreated. The Mantisian, boasting about its increased strength in the water, also admitted its weakness: it couldn’t survive underwater indefinitely.

Okarun tried to devise a plan with Momo, but she ignored him, venting her frustrations about his relationship with Aira. Eventually, Okarun clarified the misunderstanding, and together, they rescued Aira, retreating to another classroom.

Momo revived Aira and suggested they remove their outer clothing to reduce water resistance and fight more effectively. Meanwhile, the Mantisian apologized to the remaining Serpoian for their losses. Growing desperate, the Serpoian merged its body with Nessie and the Mantisian, creating a powerful, grotesque fusion.

Back in the flooded school, Momo, Okarun, and Aira encountered the fused creature. Momo devised a plan to target its neck to prevent it from firing lasers. Although the fight was challenging, the trio worked together, exploiting the creature’s weaknesses and ultimately defeating it.

As the battle ended, the water receded, and the area returned to normal. Exhausted, Momo, Okarun, and Aira lay on the ground, only to be discovered by their classmates.

Misinterpreting the situation, their peers assumed something inappropriate had happened. Mortified, the trio fled the scene as gossip spread about why they were all naked.
