Demon Slayer The Hinokami Chronicles was developed by CyberConnect2 and produced by Aniplex, released on October 14, 2021. The game received continuous updates, adding new playable characters through free updates, while the paid Entertainment District DLC pack was released in five installments.

The game garnered critical acclaim and surpassed 400 million unit sales worldwide.
