The episode began with a flashback in which Senku Ishigami explained how they managed to produce beer for their 70-day voyage to America. While the crew enjoyed playing at their casino and drinking alcoholic beverages, Senku noted the importance of having some members remain sober.
However, Ryusei Nanami insisted that everyone enjoy themselves, so he requested that Francois prepare non-alcoholic drinks at the bar.
With the assistance of Senku and the science team, Francois crafted special cocktails for Suika, Tsukasa Shishio, Gen Asagiri, Kohaku, and Senku.
Once the crew had their fun, Tsukasa organized training sessions for the ship’s combatants. He also decided to un-petrify their former enemy, Hyoga, believing that Hyoga could assist with training. Hyoga agreed on the condition that Homura Momiji and Moz also be unpetrified.
While training was underway, Senku explained how they used GPS to navigate their ship toward America. To accomplish this, a machine on their home island in Japan transmitted a signal to the ship.
They could determine their position on the map by comparing the time difference between Perseus and the machine and measuring the sun’s height.
However, after encountering a storm, they lost their ability to see the sun and calculate their location. Chrome recalled the Viking sunstone and realized he had collected a similar material. He crafted his version of a sunstone using calcite, a stone that splits light like a prism.
The episode concluded with the team approaching America.
