The wait is almost over for fans of the mind-bending anime, Dr. Stone.
TMS Entertainment has confirmed that Dr. Stone season 4, titled Dr. Stone Science Future, premieres in 2025.
The highly anticipated Dr. Stone season 4 is divided into three cours, bringing the beloved sci-fi adventure to a climactic conclusion.

The key visual for Dr Stone Science Future features the main character, Senkuu Ishigami, gazing up at the moon. Intriguingly, a younger version of himself stands beside him, also looking towards the celestial body.
Looking back at the previous season, Dr. Stone season 3 concludes with Senkuu successfully reviving Tsukasa and revealing his plan to reach the moon.
However, the introduction of Dunbar’s number poses a significant challenge to their ambitious goal, as reviving too many people could lead to chaos and hinder their progress.
Despite the risk, Senkuu and his team decide to proceed with their mission, setting sail for America to acquire essential resources. They aim to get sweetcorn for food and alcohol production, which is crucial for reviving a large number of people.
Dr. Stone is a blend of science fiction, adventure, and comedy. Crafted by the dynamic duo of writer Riichiro Inagaki (known for Eyeshield 21) and artist Boichi (known for Sun-Ken Rock), the series presents a world where humanity is petrified for 3,700 years.
The story revolves around Senkuu Ishigami, a brilliant scientist who awakens from this stone slumber determined to rebuild civilization from scratch using nothing but science and ingenuity.
With his intellect and resourcefulness, Senkuu recruits a diverse group of survivors to join his mission. They face numerous challenges, from securing basic necessities to confronting rival factions.
The anime adaptation faithfully captures the manga’s spirit, bringing the characters and world to life with stunning animation. The first season introduces Senkuu’s world-building and his initial steps to revive civilization.
The second season, “Stone Wars,” ramps up the action as Senku and his allies face their most formidable adversary yet.
The third season, “New World,” follows Senku and his team as they go on a perilous voyage to the uncharted lands of the “New World” to unravel the mysteries of the petrification phenomenon.
