As the latest installment in the Dragon Ball universe, Daima takes the franchise in bold new directions with a mix of nostalgia and innovation and a new adventure.
What is Dragon Ball Daima about?
Produced by Toei Animation, Daima is the newest addition to the Dragon Ball franchise, a series known for its iconic characters and epic battles.
This latest chapter is notable for its deep involvement by the original creator, Akira Toriyama. Before his passing on March 1, 2024, Toriyama had a significant role in shaping the concept, developing the story, and designing the characters, ensuring that Daima stays true to the series’ spirit.
The story of Daima takes place after the defeat of Majin Buu but features Beerus, the God of Destruction, making his presence known, linking it closely with Dragon Ball Super.
The central twist in this new adventure sees Goku and the Z-fighters mysteriously transformed into children. This transformation sets the stage for a new journey, leading Goku, Supreme Kai, and two new characters, Glorio and Panzy, into the dangerous and mysterious Demon Realm.
