Dragon Ball Daima episode 8 recap
The episode opened with Goku battling Tamagami Number 3. Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan during the fight, breaking Tamagami’s weapon. The clash intensified, with Tamagami deflecting Goku’s Kamehameha, only for Goku to counterattack.
Tamagami conceded but proposed a final challenge before handing over his Dragon Ball. He set up a game where he hid the Dragon Ball under one of several cups and shuffled them.
Goku quickly deduced that Tamagami had thrown the Dragon Ball aside during the shuffle. When Goku revealed its location, Tamagami admitted defeat and gave him the Dragon Ball.
Afterward, Goku and his companions prepared to leave the village. Arinsu contacted Glorio to confirm their success in retrieving Tamagami’s Dragon Ball. Impressed, Arinsu ended the call and began planning the next step in her scheme.
As the group departed the village, Glorio announced their next destination: Warp, a gateway to the Second Demon World. To avoid detection, he suggested traveling by sea and air.
Meanwhile, Degesu and Gomah reviewed footage of Majin Vegeta’s fight with Majin Buu, showing Buu restoring himself after Vegeta’s Final Explosion. Gomah spotted Arinsu at the scene and questioned her involvement. The episode cuts to Arinsu collecting fragments of Buu and storing them in a container.
Later, Arinsu arrived at a massive tree-like structure and met with her ally, Marba. Marba was crafting a concoction using a piece of Buu. She explained that Bibidi, not she, had created Buu, but Arinsu countered by claiming Bibidi had sought Marba’s help in the process. Although Buu had nearly wiped out Arinsu’s race, she assured Marba she would keep their secret.
Marba dismissed Buu as a failed experiment and expressed confidence in their new creation, which she believed would be more controllable. She instructed Arinsu to add her saliva to the mixture, explaining it would improve her ability to command the creature.
Arinsu promised Marba a grand reward if she became the Supreme Demon King and mentioned her backup plan to use the Dragon Balls if needed.
At the same time, King Kadan contacted Hybis, informing him that Goku had obtained Tamagami’s Dragon Ball. King Kadan suggested meeting in Warp and offered to arrange accommodations.
After the call ended, Vegeta asked Hybis about the Demon Realm’s Dragon Balls, but Hybis remained silent. The episode concluded with Bulma laughing.
