Jujutsu Kaisen 0, the anime’s first theatrical release, hit cinemas in Japan on December 24, 2021. The movie was released worldwide a few months later.
Season 2 Jujutsu Kaisen premiered on July 6, 2023, with the season’s final episode on December 28, 2023.
Season 1 takes place in the present time of the series and introduces the anime’s main characters. Jujutsu Kaisen 0 is a prequel to Season 1, which sheds light on the characters’ motives in Season 1.
Season 2 shifted the focus from the anime’s three young protagonists, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki, to the story of Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto during their time at Tokyo Jujutsu High.
