Juju Fest 2024, a special event dedicated to the Jujutsu Kaisen series created by Gege Akutami, was officially announced on May 13, 2024.
The event features live performances by the anime’s seiyuu (voice actors) and a special live band performance by the artist behind Jujutsu Kaisen season 2’s ending theme.

What is Juju Fest 2024?
Juju Fest 2024 is the main live event of the Jujutsu Kaisen series, taking place at Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan.
The festivities feature live performances by the seiyuu who bring the characters to life. It’s plausible that they’ll perform dramatic readings of iconic lines from the anime, or even excerpts from the upcoming season 3, potentially offering a sneak peek at the Culling Game arc.
Additionally, fans can expect a special live performance by Soushi Sakiyama, the artist behind “Akari,” the ending theme for season 2’s Hidden Inventory arc (Satoru Gojo’s Past arc).
Jujutsu Fes 2024 could fuel the season 3 fire even further, potentially offering a first glimpse at the animation style and character designs through a trailer reveal, alongside a concrete Season 3 release date announcement.
When is Juju Fest 2024?
The event takes place on Saturday, August 25, 2024 in Japan.

While the official program hasn’t been revealed, the event’s timing aligns with the upcoming announcements regarding season 3 of the anime, which is expected to adapt the Culling Game arc from the manga.
The Culling Game arc is a brutal jujutsu battle royale that pits our favorite Jujutsu High students against the series’ newest antagonists.

How to watch Juju Fest 2024
Jujutsu Kaisen fans can attend the festival in Japan in person or watch the evening session through a paid livestream.
For fans who want to experience the event live, venue viewing tickets are available. These tickets are distributed through a two-step process:
The Lottery System is the primary method of obtaining tickets. There will be two lottery periods. The first lottery application period is open as of May 15, 2024.
Any remaining tickets after the lotteries will be available for purchase during a general sale on August 17, 2024 on a first-come, first-served basis.

Fans who cannot attend the event in person will be able to watch a paid live stream of the evening session.
The sale date and details have yet to be announced, but the expected launch date is July 1, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Japan Standard Time (JST).
