The chapter began with Yuji struggling to convince Megumi Fushiguro to continue fighting for survival. After witnessing the horrors at Jujutsu High, Yuji felt he had no right to tell Megumi that he must live.
The scene shifted to the action, where Sukuna activated Hollow Wicker Basket to defend against Yuji’s Domain Expansion. To escape, Sukuna tried to activate his own Domain Expansion but could not recover enough cursed energy due to the lingering effects of Satoru Gojo’s Limitless Void.
Since he couldn’t use his reverse cursed technique, Sukuna strengthened Hollow Wicker Basket by maintaining the technque’s hand gesture, which prevented Yuji’s Domain Expansion from overwhelming him.
A fierce hand-to-hand battle followed, with Sukuna gaining the upper hand. Furious at Yuji’s disrespect, Sukuna vowed to make humanity suffer. Suddenly, an image of a young Megumi appeared, and Yuji lamented how lonely it was without him.
Sukuna then lost his footing as Megumi’s Chimera Shadow Garden Domain Expansion seemed to manifest. Sukuna realized that his ability to use Megumi’s Ten Shadows technique had faltered, signaling that Megumi was beginning to fight back for control of his body.
As Sukuna’s defenses weakened and he continued to take damage from Yuji’s punches, the King of Curses resorted to a technique he had learned from Gojo. By resetting his brain, Sukuna created an opening to activate his Domain Expansion.
The chapter ended with Sukuna unleashing his Domain Expansion, but the chapter shifted to a different location, revealing a spiral staircase with Sukuna’s cursed object entangled at its center.
