Chapter 264 of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga introduced a game-changing development with the revelation of Yuji Itadori’s Domain Expansion.

A pivotal moment in this chapter occurred when Yuji and Sukuna were abruptly transported to a train station, where Sukuna awakened in a state of confusion. The King of Curses was even back in Yuji’s body, which is strange because Sukuna took Megumi Fushiguro’s body at the end of the Culling Game arc.

Intriguingly, this scenario echoed a key element from the opening of Jujutsu Kaisen season 1, Kaikai Kitan by Eve.

The opening sequence depicted Yuji waking up on a train after showing viewers that Sukuna was dormant in his body. This scene foreshadowed a crucial plot point in a climactic moment during the Shinjuku Showdown arc.

The coincidence of Yuji and Sukuna waking up in a train and train station was striking. While the exact nature of Yuji’s Domain Expansion remained unclear, it was evident that the manga was approaching its conclusion.

At that time, most of the sorcerers in the series were either incapacitated or heavily injured, unable to confront Sukuna. Only Yuji remained standing.

He planned to separate Sukuna from Megumi’s body by landing a clean hit using Sukuna’s Dismantle technique.

Yuji’s best chance for a guaranteed hit lay with his Domain Expansion, which could mark the end of Sukuna if he were separated from his vessel.
