The biggest battle in Jujutsu Kaisen is on the horizon.
Japanese entertainment company TOHO Animation and renowned animation studio MAPPA confirmed on December 28 the production of the Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 Culling Game arc.

The announcement came right after the final episode of season 2 aired.
The upcoming season will focus on the “Shimetsu Kaiyu,” known to manga readers as the Culling Game arc, adapting events from volume 23 of the manga.

The announcement came with a brief teaser trailer, highlighting which characters viewers can expect in the next season.

A major highlight of season 3 is the highly anticipated encounter between the series’ two main protagonists, Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu.
Yuji has taken the lead as the main character in seasons 1 and 2, while Yuta played a pivotal role as the hero in the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie.
