Kaiju no 8 chapter 113 recap

Kaiju no 10 then appeared before Hibino in a smaller, child-like form. Though it seemed as if Kaiju no 10 was speaking to Hibino, it became apparent that the monster was addressing someone else.

Kaiju no 10 suddenly reassured Hibino not to worry, saying he had won. The monster explained that his ambitions had been crushed and that he had enjoyed his existence, stating that all he wanted was to learn more and be closer to humanity.

The scene then revealed Kaiju no 10 conversing with the monster inhabiting Hibino’s body, expressing a desire to understand what the other monster was trying to escape from.

With Kaiju no 10 defeated, its body began to lose equilibrium and could no longer maintain the monsters it had consumed.
