Chapter 115 began with the monster that had taken over Kaiju no 9’s body, determined to eliminate Mina Ashiro after dealing a devastating blow to Hibino Kafka.

Kaiju no 9 explained to Mina that no one, regardless of their strength or how much time had passed, had ever escaped its grasp. Even he could not resist the will of the being now controlling his body.

Despite facing certain death, Mina remained resolute, placing her unwavering trust in her vice captain Soshiro Hoshina. He had always compensated for her shortcomings and was prepared to clear a path when she needed it most.

Just as the evolved Kaiju no 9 was about to deliver a fatal blow to Mina, Hoshina intervened, using his Sixth Form cutting technique, Strata Strike, along with his Kaiju no 10 battle suit.

Hoshina urgently requested that the Defense Force command center deploy more of his weapons onto the battlefield. He also asked Mina to check on Kafka while he faced the evolved Kaiju no 9.

Mina expressed concern, doubting that Hoshina could handle such a powerful threat alone. Hoshina calmly advised her to let others help when they could.

At that moment, Gen Narumi, captain of the First Division, declared that he didn’t need permission to join the battle. The chapter ended with Gen setting his sights on Kaiju no 9.
