The story follows Miyo Saimori, a young woman who, after years of mistreatment by her family, enters an arranged marriage with the seemingly cold Kiyoka Kudou. However, as the two spend time together, Miyo discovers warmth and love in an unexpected place.

Miyo Saimori, the eldest daughter of the Saimori family, is treated poorly by her family because of her lack of spiritual powers. After her mother’s death, her father remarries, and her stepsister, Kaya, receives preferential treatment.
Miyo eventually arranges to marry Kiyoka Kudou, a soldier known for scaring off his potential brides. Despite his initial coldness, Kiyoka slowly warms up to Miyo as he learns of her past mistreatment.
Their relationship deepens as the two spend time together, but Miyo struggles with her insecurities and hidden supernatural abilities, which she learns about from her estranged Usuba family.
Meanwhile, Kaya and Kouji, Miyo’s childhood friend who is forced into an engagement with Kaya, become entangled in a plot to separate Miyo and Kiyoka.
However, Miyo begins to grow stronger, and with the help of her powers, she saves Kiyoka from danger in the dream world, defeating an enemy who threatens their happiness.
By the end of the season, Miyo and Kiyoka’s bond solidifies, and they return to their daily lives, ready to face their future together.
