What is Oshi no Ko about

Oshi no Ko began serializing in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump magazine on April 23, 2020. An anime adaptation was announced in 2022, with animation produced by Doga Kobo.

The anime follows the story of Goro Amamiya and Sarina Tendouji, who are reborn under extraordinary circumstances as twins Aqua and Ruby. They are reincarnated as the children of Japanese idol Ai Hoshino.

First up, the Oshi no Ko movie hits theaters nationwide in Japan on Friday, December 20, 2024.

While details on how this movie connects to the TV series have yet to be explained, the teaser trailer showed that the feature film focuses on the central mysteries that follow the same themes in the Oshi no Ko manga and anime.
