The official Oshi no Ko season 2 release date is out!
This next installment continues the narrative following Japanese idol Ai Hoshino and her children, Aqua Hoshino and Ruby Hoshino.
During Oshi no Ko’s press event on May 26, 2024, the series’ voice actors announced the exact release date for season 2 and shared more details about the anime adaptation.

An earlier announcement was made on March 25, 2024, during a special stage event at the AnimeJapan 2024 convention, held at Tokyo Big Sight, Japan.
Led by Japanese voice actors Megumi Han (Arima Kana), Takeo Ootsuka (Aqua), and Manaka Iwami (Akane Kurokawa), the event provided fans with insights into what they can expect from the upcoming season.
Oshi no Ko season 2 release date

Oshi no Ko season 2 premieres on July 2, 2024.
Joining the anime cast are Ayane Sakura as Abiko Samejima and Daisuke Ono as GOA.
Sakura is best known for voicing Ochaco Uraraka from My Hero Academia and Gabi Braun from Attack on Titan. Meanwhile, Ono has voiced iconic characters like Erwin Smith from Attack on Titan, Sebastian Michaelis from Black Butler, and Jotaro Kujo from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

Along with the announcement of Oshi no Ko season 2’s release date on May 26, 2024, a new trailer was revealed featuring GEMN’s song Fataru.
The teaser trailer, released on March 25, 2024, showcased the anime’s characters in costumes for their stage play, Tokyo Blade, which focuses on the Shibuya Conflict arc.
In this stage play, Kana portrays the supporting character Tsurugi, while Akane takes on the role of the main antagonist, Sayahime, and Aqua portrays the antagonist Touki.
In addition to the video teaser, Doga Kobo released a key visual showing all the characters in a rehearsal for the play.

Season 2 promises the introduction of new characters and voice actors. Fans can look forward to Koki Uchiyama’s portrayal of Taiki Himekawa and Yusuke Kobayashi’s performance as Sakuya Kamoshida.
