Taro Sakamoto

Taro, once a legendary hitman, abandoned his deadly career after falling in love with Aoi. Now, he leads a peaceful life as the owner of a small convenience store in a charming town.

Despite his plump appearance, Taro’s formidable fighting skills remain sharp. He’s a master of improvisation, capable of turning any nearby object into a weapon.

Above all, Taro cherishes his family, prioritizing the love and well-being of his wife and daughter.

Shin Asakura

A skilled telepath with the ability to read minds, Shin was once a subordinate of Taro during his days as a hitman.

Tasked with assassinating his former mentor, Akira was instead moved by the warmth and love of the Sakamoto family. Renouncing his violent past, he joined Sakamoto’s convenience store and became a loyal friend and admirer, hoping to emulate the kindness and strength he witnessed in his former boss.

Xiaoting Lu

Xiaoting, a former mafia member and skilled tai chi practitioner, is a bright and easygoing woman with a knack for making delicious pork buns.

She found refuge with Taro and Shin after escaping a rival gang. Now, she works at Taro’s convenience store, where she’s become good friends with Hana.

Nagumo

A highly skilled operative from the elite Order within the JAA, and a former colleague of Sakamoto’s during his time as a hitman. Nagumo is a master of deception and disguise.

While Nagumo presents himself as relaxed and easygoing person, he has a history of dishonesty and a tendency to antagonize others, making it challenging to understand his true intentions.

Shishiba

As a member of the Order, Shishiba is typically calm and logical. However, he has an irrational aversion to onions…?

He regularly teams up with his junior colleague, Osaragi, during missions, joking with him about his distinctive Kansai accent.

Osaragi
