To protect their mission to save Baam, Rak and Yiwah engage in a brutal fight with two attackers from Team Snake, allowing safe passage for the rest of the team to the summoning platform.
Elsewhere, Beta meets up with a member of FUG named Devil Bon, carrying with him the brain worm named Medina. A sinister pact is forged as Beta ingests Medina, granting him a twisted opportunity to compete in the deadly Workshop battle.
Vespa finds Beta and intercepts him with a jab of his spear, touting himself as the fastest Regular around. Beta mocks Vespa’s challenge and swiftly overpowers him, but Rak and Yiwah’s unexpected appearance forces him to stand his ground.
Still retrained, Baam is reminded of his sad past waiting for Rachel. Frustrated with himself, he tries yet again to free himself. Reflejo, puzzled by Yuto’s motives, learns a shocking truth in their final conversation: Yuto is Hwa Ryun, and their plan to weaponize Viole was doomed from the beginning.
Kang and Novick force their way into a fortified room, unaware of the danger that awaits within. They’re met with attacks from a giant blue robot. When things were looking bleak, a giant blue beam appeared out of nowhere and impaled the robot. Baam had saved them.
Beta easily defeated Rak, Yihwa, and Vespa, then departed to pursue Viole after hearing of his escape. Meanwhile, Hwa Ryun revealed herself to Novick, Horyang, and a shocked Baam, promising to guide him back to his friends.
As Wangnan approached the item shop, Baam’s escape team clashed with FUG’s Ron Mei and Varagarv. Despite the fierce battle, Baam managed to slip away. Reunited through the interface, Wangnan and Baam’s triumph was short-lived as Beta’s hand emerged bloodied through Wangnan’s chest.
