To turn Bilac into an Ancient Craftsman, Sunraku embarks on an adventure to find the necessary items.
They stumble upon their first destination, the Ruins of Past Glories. Whilst searching for the Magic Operations Unit, Sunraku and his party is suddenly attacked by various kinds of resident Golems. Slow but powerful, the Golems ignore Bilac and Sunraku and instead focus their attacks on Emul and Aramis.
Realizing how the Golem’s AI prioritizes attacks on spellcasters, Sunraku and Bilac launch a direct attack on the main Golem which destroys it. Sunraku then claims a grenade-like item called a Blasting Earth Idol as loot.
As Sunraku delves deeper into the ruins, he discovers a deep underground passage and feels confident that what they’re looking for is hiding. However, it appears the party is being followed.
