The Hand of Arlen is already in ruins by the time Wangnan’s team arrives, however they find an injured Khun beneath the rubble and bring him back with them.
News has spread of Khun’s alleged death which eventually reaches the ears of Rak who doesn’t believe it.
Moments away from another all-out fight, Viole stops Ran and Cassano mid-attack. To stop the fighting, he orders Xia Xia to stop fighting and instead bring Novick and Ran with them to the upcoming Workshop battle. Khun’s teammates are hesitant until Viole convinces them he isn’t the enemy, and that Khun is still alive.
Khun eventually awakens from his injuries in Wangnan’s base, certain that Viole is in fact his dear friend Baam. Guarded at first, Khun realizes Viole’s teammates are fairly ordinary and aren’t part of FUG. They help Khun look for his team on the 29th floor.
However, they’re welcomed with the sight of cold-blooded murder. Dan somehow survived the attack, though his legs were brutally slashed by Rachel. Though the injuries appear severe, Dan is expected to recover.
Ryun reaches out to Khun and reveals how Baam was forced to join and stay with FUG.
Though injured, Dan expresses to Khun his need to redeem himself by participating in the Workshop battle. Dan and Khun officially join Wangnan’s team.
