The motive behind the Workshop battle is finally revealed. Aside being a battle royale featuring spectacular rewards for its participants, the Workshop battle itself was created for research purposes to further develop Emile.
Participants of the Workshop battle enjoy some time off on the Archimedes by the pool. A news crew interviews Endorsi, who reveals that she was awarded a special pass to board the Archimedes after catching a stowaway.
Just as she was about to leave, Endorsi catches a glimpse of Viole and FUG, which reminds her of her past conversation with the traveler — Viole is actually the 25th Baam.
Back in the living quarters, Khun is reunited with Rak and learns that he knows everything about Baam and Rachel thanks to Hwaryun.
Khun and Rak suddenly break out into a fight in the living area, arguing about how to save Baam from FUG and whether it’s even possible. The two eventually reconcile, with Khun promising to save his best friend even if he has to play dirty.
Cassano brings Kang to an underground facility, reuniting him with his beloved childhood caretaker, Dr. Sophia. The two were followed by Hatsu, who was eventually spotted by a bandaged individual. Cassano captures Hatsu and imprisons him with his hands tied up.
Dr. Sophia introduces Beta to Kang, informing him that the bandaged individual is his younger brother. She then gives Kang and Cassano a tour of the facility, sharing with them the fruits of her latest research project: Emile, a new Ignition Weapon.
The first round of the Workshop battle begins with a game called Flag. As Wangnan and Akraptor step onto the field, they see Prince standing opposite them, beaten black and blue. As they call to him, Prince tells them to run as a crazed Miseng steps onto the field with a giant red bat in hand.
