The Development Tournament commenced, with all the top contenders entering the battle arena. Wangnan made a beeline for the summoning station, while Beta is seen washed ashore on a beach.
Team FUG and Team Mad Dog kicked off their semifinal match. Wangnan, reaching the summoning station, prepared to summon Quaetro but was ambushed by Team Mad Dog’s twins.
Meanwhile, Viole arrived at the location of the Thorn, only to be followed by Reflejo. However, Reflejo was intercepted by Novick, who revealed their alliance with Team Mad Dog. A series of flashbacks unveiled the events leading to Novick’s alliance with Team Mad Dog. As Reflejo confronted Novick, he regained his composure, surprising the latter.
Back at the Summoning Station, Wangnan engaged the twins. With Khun’s strategic insight, Wangnan successfully defeated the duo and summoned Quaetro, followed by Rak, Yeon, and Akraptor.
At the cavern housing the Thorn, Beta explained its history to Viole. Outside, Reflejo revealed to Novick that their encounter was part of a larger plan. As Beta attempted to trap Viole, Novick was attacked. Kang intervenes at the last moment, defeating the two attackers and fleeing with Novick.
Whilst escaping, they encountered Yuto, who asks them to follow her. Meanwhile, Beta successfully trapped Viole at the bottom of the cavern.
