Several years since their deadly encounter with Mazino, Wangnan’s team is diligently climbing the tower to make it in time for the Workshop Battle. They’ve grown significantly in power since the last episode, particularly young Miseng.

During the timeskip, a new chat AI called Emily has risen in popularity. Capable of answering almost all queries with an alarmingly high success rate, it’s said she can even tell users if a known deceased person is still alive.

The episode also features Khun’s party who are also making their way to the Workshop Battle. In the midst of a challenge, the party is stuck at a crossroad.

Dan, one of Khun’s party members, asks Emily to determine which route to take whilst chasing an enemy. Although the team successfully completes the challenge, Khun is opposed to relying on the Emily AI for guidance.

However, when left alone, Khun asks Emily if Baam is still alive. To which it confirms he is indeed still alive.

Though the Emily AI appears incredibly useful, there appears to be a darker side no one is aware of. A woman with a device strapped to her head is seen screaming at Emily.

What links these two together? Could they be one and the same?
