What is Oshi no Ko manga about?

The story centers around Gorou Amamiya, a doctor who gets reincarnated as Aquamarine Hoshino, the son of a famous idol named Ai Hoshino. Unbeknownst to Aqua, his twin sister, Ruby Hoshino, is the reincarnation of Sarina Tendouji, a former patient who was also a fan of Ai.
Tragedy strikes when Ai is murdered by the same deranged fan who killed Gorou in his previous life. Aqua, who retains his past memories, grows up with a desire to avenge his mother. Meanwhile, Ruby harbors a dream to become an idol just like Ai.

The first season of the anime aired from April 13, 2023, to June 28, 2023, with 11 episodes. The second season aired from July 3, 2024, to October 6, 2024, featuring 13 episodes.

Where does Oshi no Ko leave off in the manga?
The first season of the Oshi no Ko anime adaptation ends around chapter 40 of the manga titled “Sore Loser.” The second season of the anime concluded with chapter 80 of the manga titled “Wish.”
Chapter 40 of Oshi no Ko focuses on two main storylines: Akane’s rising stardom and a tense encounter between Kana and Akane.
