Where does the Dandadan anime end in the manga?
Season 1 of the anime, which ran for 12 episodes, adapted chapters 1 to 33 of the manga.
This covered the Kitama Hunt saga, introducing fans to key arcs such as the Turbo Granny arc, the Acrobatic Silky arc, and the Serpo arc.
It also set the stage for the Curse House arc, which was only partially explored in the season 1 finale.
Looking ahead, the anime’s season 2 picks up where season 1 left off, continuing the Curse House arc before transitioning into the Evil Eye arc.
Season 1 finale recap
In episode 12, titled “Let’s Go to the Cursed House,” the story reached a pivotal moment. Momo, Okarun, and Jiji embarked on a mission to investigate a haunted house deeply tied to Jiji’s tragic past.
The episode balanced the series’ hallmark comedic elements with moments of heartfelt connection and nail-biting tension.
Okarun’s jealousy over Jiji’s camaraderie with Momo added a humorous layer to the dynamic, though it was clear that the boys were slowly warming to one another.
Upon their arrival at the haunted house, Momo decided to visit a nearby hot spring, leaving Okarun and Jiji to explore the unsettling location alone.
Their playful rivalry quickly gave way to suspense as they discovered a sealed room filled with cryptic warnings, eerie seals, and letters.
Meanwhile, Momo’s relaxing hot spring visit was cut short when mysterious attackers ambushed her. This left her fate uncertain as the episode closed on a cliffhanger.
