Gachiakuta is a Japanese manga series created by Kei Urana. It began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine in February 2022.

What is Gachiakuta about?

Rudo, a young boy living in the slums, despises the wealthy society that exiles criminals to “The Pit,” a massive dump site. When his foster father is murdered, Rudo is falsely accused and thrown into The Pit himself.

Awakening in a bizarre landscape of trash, Rudo encounters monstrous creatures and is rescued by Enjin, a member of the Cleaners.

Enjin reveals that Rudo possesses unique powers and invites him to join the Cleaners, an organization dedicated to fighting the trash beasts.

Driven by a thirst for revenge, Rudo reluctantly agrees to join the Cleaners, hoping to eventually return to The Sphere and confront those who wronged him.
