While working on the Tokyo Blade 2.5D stage play, Aqua secretly conducted a DNA test on his fellow actor, Taiki Himekawa. The test revealed that they were half-brothers with the same father.

Taiki invited Aqua to his apartment and explained that their father was Seijuro Uehara, a struggling actor known for his relationships with multiple talents in the entertainment industry.

Taiki’s mother was Airi Himekawa, who had once been the lead actress in a morning drama. Taiki then revealed that their father, Seijuro Uehara, had died five years ago after committing a lover’s suicide with Airi.

While the Oshi no Ko anime has yet to fully reveal Ai Hoshino’s connection to Seijuro, this episode marked a turning point for Aqua. Having learned his father’s identity and the circumstances surrounding his death, Aqua began to realize that his long mission for revenge may finally be over.
