Dragon Ball Daima x McDonald’s is the crossover fans never knew they needed—until now.
Dragon Ball Daima premiered on October 11, 2024, bringing Goku and friends back into our lives with exciting new adventures.
McDonald’s is joining the hype, adding flavor to this monumental event.
Announced on November 14, 2024, this collaboration between two global powerhouses promises to delight anime fans and fast-food lovers alike.
The Dragon Ball Daima x McDonald’s collaboration is a fusion of flavors
McDonald’s Hong Kong offers a special menu inspired by Dragon Ball Daima.
The highlight is the Japanese-style chicken katsu burger, which features a crispy chicken thigh fillet paired with fresh lettuce and a savory sauce, all nestled in a soft bun.
The collaboration includes several enticing side items in addition to the burger. A White Grape Yogurt-Flavored Soda brings a refreshing mix of sweet grape and creamy yogurt flavors. Sweet Potato Balls offer a crispy exterior that gives way to a soft, flavorful sweet potato filling for a savory-sweet twist.
The collaboration also introduces the Big Eat Combinations, which offer various meal upgrades.
Customers can enjoy a “McShaker” bag with seasoning powder for added flavor, upgrade their meals to include large fries and a large soda, or opt for Shake Shake Fries paired with drinks from the large cup series, including White Milk Sour Soda, Frozen Fresh Lemon Tea, or Frozen Hong Kong-Style Milk Tea.
McDonald’s has long been known for embracing Japanese pop culture through its collaborations with anime franchises. Earlier this year, in 2024, the fast-food giant partnered with Jujutsu Kaisen, creating excitement among anime fans with exclusive themed menu items and collectibles.
McDonald’s Japan has also gained widespread acclaim for its anime-inspired Wcdonald’s commercials and short films, blending fast food with storytelling and beautifully crafted animation.
These creative ventures have highlighted McDonald’s ability to merge popular culture with its brand in meaningful and engaging ways.
