Japanese voice actor Yuki Kaji, best known for his role as Eren Jaeger in Attack on Titan, has thrilled anime fans with the success of his latest project.
Kaji and Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isayama have raised over US$170,000 in funding for their new project, Soyogi Fractal (SF).
This singing voice synthesis project, Bon Soyogi, was launched to celebrate Kaji’s 20th anniversary as a voice actor.
Announced in April 2024, the project also features a one-shot manga collaboration between Kaji and Isayama. Here’s what the project has in store so far.

The SF project has partnered with CeVIO AI, a next-generation singing voice synthesis software.
CeVIO AI uses advanced AI technology to accurately reproduce human voice quality, habits, singing style, and speaking style, ensuring high-quality singing voice synthesis.
This crowdfunding campaign on Camp Fire aims to commercialize the software Bonsoyogi, allowing anyone to freely create such works.
Since its crowdfunding launch, SF has released three Bonsoyogi music videos and a reading titled “No Longer Human.”
These releases showcase the capabilities of the Bonsoyogi software and have been well-received by fans.
