Apex Legends players are currently looking forward to the next season, but when exactly will it arrive?
Just like the previous seasons, season 22 is also expected to bring a plethora of content to the game.
In this ONE Esports guide, we’ll let you know about the possible Apex Legends season 22 release date and what you can expect to see in it.
Apex Legends season 22 release date
Respawn Entertainment has not shared any details about when the next season will arrive, but we can get an idea from the game’s battle pass.
According to the in-game countdown of the battle pass, it will expire in 15 days. This means Apex Legends season 22 will start on August 6, 2024.
This method has been used to predict the release date of each season, and it has turned out to be accurate every time.
The next season is expected to go live at around 10 AM PT or 6 PM BST. However, this can be delayed due to server maintenance.
Also, keep in mind that there will be a massive new update for the next season, but Respawn will let you preload it.
What will Apex Legends season 22 feature?
Aside from new skins, challenges, and possible new weapons, here’s what the next season is expected to feature.
Changes to battle pass
In Apex Legends season 22, players will get to see major changes to the battle pass.
For starters, players won’t be able to buy a battle pass using Apex Coins. Instead, they will have to spend real-life money.
On top of that, the single 110-tier battle pass will be replaced by two battle passes: Premium and Premium+. Both will have 60 tiers each and cost $9.99 and $19.99, respectively.
New map
Apex Legends season 22 is also expected to feature a new map called District. While Respawn hasn’t shared any details about it, the news comes directly from a reliable Apex Legends leaker, Osvaldatore.
This was everything you needed to know about Apex Legends season 22 release date and expected content.
