As Apex Legends Season 20 comes to an end, players prepare for what’s next. Apex Legends Season 21 is coming sooner than you’d expect.
Apex Legends Season 20 is one memorable season. From the ALGS hack incident that shook the community to in-game progress getting lost, Respawn had its plate full of unexpected issues.
With all the hiccups now aside, Season 20 is approaching an end, which means players are ready for what awaits them in Apex Legends Season 21.
The next season of Apex Legends will bring a treasure trove of new content, updates, and a shiny new battle pass. Here’s what we know about the Apex Legends Season 21 start date.
Apex Legends Season 21 release date
Apex Legends Season 21 will start when Season 20 ends, which, according to the battle pass, is May 6. This means the next season should begin at 10 AM PDT/1 PM EDT/6 PM BST on May 6.
Respawn hasn’t yet revealed when the next season will go live, but in-game battle pass points to an early May release.
Considering recent bugs and mishaps with the anti-cheat, the release date could be subject to change.
While Respawn has ironed out all major issues, it’s still unknown just how solid the new layered anti-cheat upgrades are.
Like all seasons, this one will bring its own battle pass that players can grind through to earn rewards and unlock rare in-game cosmetics.
Since Respawn is tight-lipped about the new season, players will have to sit tight and wait for any new Legend teasers before getting their hopes up.
Players can expect more teasers and details in the last few days of April, as Respawn generally posts new season trailers a week ahead of the launch.
In any case, the next season of Apex Legends is expected to go live in early May unless there are any unexpected delays.
