With the recent ban on the thermal optic on the Cronen Squall in Warzone 2 ranked, Aydan “Aydan” Conrad, has found a new attachment to use.
According to the Call of Duty expert and professional battle royale player, this new optic is the meta attachment you should be running in Warzone 2 ranked. In addition, he provides the entire build he’s using to dominate the game mode.
The new best optic for Warzone 2 ranked
The content creator shared this with his 1.42 million subscribers, so you can expect your opponents to be using it as well. Might as well take advantage yourself!
If you’re wondering why you can’t use the thermal optic anymore, well, he explains that. Given that the main way players can rotate positions in the battle royale is by the use of smoke grenades, having an item that can see right through them is a bit of an issue.
So what’s the next best thing?
For this expert, it’s the Cronen Mini Pro. This has essentially always been a popular optic, and with the thermal meta ending, it returns to supremacy. This optic gives a great sight picture and doesn’t block much of the screen, allowing you to be accurate and not lose any vision.
Give it a try for yourself!
