In this ONE Esports guide, we’ll cover the best battle rifles in Warzone Season 1.

Battle rifles are somewhat similar to assault rifles, but they are capable of dealing a higher amount of damage with each bullet, but at the cost of increased recoil.

Several battle rifles from Modern Warfare II and III have made their way into Warzone  Season 1.

BAS-B

The first battle rifle we recommend in Warzone Season 1 is the BAS-B. It’s likely the first one you’ll use, as it’s unlocked by default.

The BAS-B boasts solid base stats and is one of the easiest weapons to use in the game. And with the right attachments, you can transform it into a lethal weapon that can help you bag in mid to long-range kills quickly.

We recommend equipping the Blue Harmonic Suppressor L with this weapon. It not only keeps you off the radar but also improves the bullet velocity and damage range.

FTAC Recon

Next, we have the FTAC Recon. Carried over from Modern Warfare II, it’s currently one of the best battle rifles to use this season.

The FTAC Recon delivers excellent damage at mid-range and offers high base-level accuracy, making it easy to control.

To further improve its range and make it a weapon that can perform well in both mid to long-range combat, we recommend throwing in an attachment that would increase its damage range and bullet velocity.

We also recommend pairing it with attachments that can improve overall mobility, as you’ll need to be quick while carrying this weapon.

Sidewinder

If you’re looking for a weapon that can perform well in close to mid-range combat, then you need to check out the Sidewinder.

Unlike the two weapons mentioned above, this battle rifle doesn’t perform well in long-range situations. It is meant for encounters where you’re up close and personal with your targets or slightly farther away.
