The FTAC Recon is a battle rifle in MW3, but to maximize its potential, you’ll need to pair it with the right attachments.
Best FTAC Recon guide
In this ONE Esports guide, we’ll let you know what the best FTAC Recon loadout is in Modern Warfare 3 so you can start bagging in those mid to long-range kills.
Best FTAC Recon loadout in MW3
As the FTAC Recon is a sweet spot between an Assault Rifle and a Sniper, you should go for a loadout that improves its stability, recoil, and accuracy.
Based on that, this is the loadout we recommend for the FTAC Recon in Modern Warfare 3.
- Barrel: Bull Rider 16.5
- Laser: FSS OLE-V Laser
- Rear Grip: Support CP90
- Stock: Demo Precision
- Underbarrel: VX Pineapple
Let’s take a look at what each attachment does.
Attachments breakdown for best FTAC Recon loadout
First, we have the Bull Rider 16.5 barrel. This attachment is designed to improve accuracy and stability while aiming. When used, it will improve hip-fire accuracy, recoil control, damage range, and bullet velocity.
However, all of this will come at the cost of a slower aim-down sight and movement speed.
Next, we’re using the Support CP90 as a Rear Grip, which will boost the FTAC Recon’s stability and flinch resistance at the cost of some speed.
For Stock, we’re including the Demo Precision. This attachment improves recoil control and aiming stability, making long-range kills easier to get.
To further improve the weapon in mid to long-range combat, you’d want to consider using the VX Pineapple underbarrel. This will boost the hip fire accuracy, hip recoil control, gun kick control, and aim walking steadiness.
Since most of these attachments will make you slow, you’ll need to use the FFS OLE-V Lase, which will improve the aim-down sight and sprint-to-fire speed.
Finally, choose an extended magazine that works well for you. We recommend using a 15 Round Magazine, as this will be enough for most situations.
This concludes our guide on the best FTAC Recon loadout in MW3.
