In Black Ops 6 multiplayer, everyone wants the best weapons to dominate all and claim victory. The Goblin Mk2 assault rifle may have a slow fire rate, but surely is the most powerful in the game.

Goblin Mk2 is undefeated in short-range combat as it only requires two or three bullets to end one’s life. Like all weapons in BO6, this can be tweaked with modifications to improve the fire rate and increase damage.

Black Ops 6 has many attachments to choose from for every weapon, it is challenging to select which one would be the most reasonable. To assist with that decision-making, we’ve created the best Goblin Mk2 loadout to help you have the best.

Assault rifles are known for their high damage output with a relatively decent rate of fire. Unlike the other ARs which have full automatic firing, Goblin Mk2 only has single-fire activation in Black Ops 6.

Even though Goblin Mk2 is a single-fire mode weapon, it can be fired fast with rapid clicks. To upgrade the weapon to its best, we’ll require eight mod slots. This can be acquired through the Gunfighter Wildcard. Having that said, let’s look at the attachments we need:

For low visual intrusion while aiming down sight, we’ve picked the Merlin Mini for the Goblin Mk2. Since this is a close-range combat build, having 1x magnification sights is enough. You can swap the sight to fit your preference as well.

The Goblin Mk2 has a huge recoil kick for a single-shot firing weapon. To facilitate that attach a Compensator to subsidize the overall vertical recoil of the weapon. You can swap this with a Ported Compensator and compare which one would be better for you.

To bring down the recoil kick further, we have chosen Precision Foregrip. This would also reduce the aiming sway as well.

The Reinforced Barrel has been chosen for its effectiveness on both bullet velocity and damage range. This would make the Goblin Mk2 good enough to bring down enemies at medium range too.

With great powers comes lower ammo capacity, thus we will require an extended magazine. For this, we’ve chosen Extended Mag 1, as it keeps the reload time the same with a slight increase in ammo capacity.

To keep you nimble and alert, have chosen the Commando Grip as Rear Grip. This attachment reduces aim down sight speed alongside improving sprint to fire speed.

For added movement speed, we have attached a Balanced Stock as well. This will let you move around quicker while aiming down sight, and improve your hipfire movement speed.

Best perks for Goblin Mk2 in Black Ops 6

Perk combos are important in any Call of Duty game and Black Ops 6 is no exception. The Goblin Mk2 is great for assault focused gameplay and these perks go hand-in-hand with that:

  • Perk 1 – Scavenger: You’ll have less ammo on standby, so you’ll have to improvise. This ability will automatically pick ammo and equipment from dead enemies, and keep you well supplied.
  • Perk 2 – Assassin: Any enemy on a kill streak would get marked on the map. Taking them down will reward you with bonus points, helping with leveling up.
  • Perk 3 – Double Time: This perk greatly increases tactical sprint, making you untouchable.
  • Specialty – Enforcer: Eliminating enemies improves your movement speed and health regen rate.
  • Wildcard – Gunfighter: This increases your attachment slot for your primary weapon only.

Secondary and Field Upgrades to choose from with this loadout

Keeping a backup and some tricks up the sleeve is important when using the Goblin Mk2 as a primary weapon. These are our recommendations that go along with the assault rifle in Black Ops 6:

  • Pistol – GS45: This semi-auto pistol is your best friend for close-range fights when you’re out of ammo on your primary.
  • Melee – Knife: This lets you one-shot your enemies with a press of a button.
  • Tactical – Stim Shot: Syringe that lets you heal immediately after use.
  • Lethal – Combat Axe: Throwable melee that eliminates them on contact.
  • Field Upgrade – Morphine Injector: If enemies fatally damage you, you’re put into a Last Stand state. You can self-revive after killing an enemy or be revived by teammates while in that state.

The Goblin Mk2 remains true to its assault rifle name as it lets you move around and kill close to medium-range enemies. However, you’ll need some trigger discipline to use the weapon effectively in multiplayer matches.
