The GPR 91 doesn’t get enough limelight among Black Ops 6 players, but it is one of the best assault rifles available in the game.
Even the weapon by itself is forgiving to players for its exceptional rate of fire. Yes, when compared to other ARs like XM4 and AMES 85, the damage output is a bit underwhelming.
Nonetheless, this issue can be fixed with a proper loadout, perk combination, and overall class setup.
In this ONE Esports guide, we share the best GPR 91 loadout to help you dominate the battlefield with this underrated weapon.
Score wins with this best GPR 91 loadout in Black Ops 6
As mentioned before, the GPR 91 ranks low in terms of popularity due to lower damage output compared to other ARs.
But that can easily be solved with the right choice of attachments. Here is the loadout that is considered meta for the GPR 91:
SLOT | ATTACHMENT |
Fire Mods | Rapid Fire |
Muzzle | Suppressor |
Stock | Balanced Stock |
Underbarrel | Vertical Foregrip |
Rear Grip | Commando Grip |
This build is focused on close-range, stealthy gunplay. To achieve a stealthy strategy, simply attach the Suppressor to the muzzle slot. It conceals your location while shooting, helping you remain undetected longer.
The Balanced Stock attachments provide great movement benefits alongside faster aim down sight (ADS) speed. This allows you to lock on your targets faster without the fear of getting hit.
Rapid Fire mod comes with many cons like higher recoil, decreased damage range, and bullet velocity for the getting higher fire rate. Despite losing so much, the gain in firepower is exactly what we need to make this weapon better.
We have added the Vertical Foregrip to compensate for all the negative debuffs added by the Rapid Fire mod. This underbarrel reduces the vertical recoil drastically to maintain stability while firing.
To further boost ADS speed and enhance sprint-to-fire speed, attach the Commando Grip. You can swap it with Ergonomic Grip if you rely on the Omnimovement mechanic. Since we are using a stealth-based loadout for the GPR 91, the prior option is a better one. However, you’re free to adjust the weapon to your liking.
Perks to choose when using the GPR 91 in Black Ops 6
Since this is a stealth-based build, we focus on giving you as much intel as possible. These are the best perks to complement the loadout:
- Perk 1 – Ninja: This makes you move more quietly and flank your enemies with ease.
- Perk 2 – Forward Intel: increased minimap area allowing you to look for more information on foes. This also gives direction indicators for revealed enemies and helps you hunt them.
- Perk 3 – Cold-Blooded: This makes you invisible to AI targeting systems, thermal options, and opponent scorestreaks.
- Specialty – Recon: This specialty allows you to look at enemies through walls shortly after respawning. Additionally, this also gives an indicator along the HUD edge if enemies are outside your view.
- Wildcard – Perk Greed: Allows you to take one more perk alongside the existing three perk slots. While you can opt for any other perk, we recommend picking Tracker.
Field upgrade and other equipment to have with GPR 91
Equipment are important if you want to play stealthily. To help you stay undetected, these gadgets and weapons are great:
- Pistol – GS45: The semi-auto pistol is reliable with its high firepower and handling.
- Melee – Knife: This handy melee weapon is helpful during close combat situations and helps you take down opponents with one hit.
- Tactical – Decoy: This grenade simulates footsteps allowing you to deceive your enemies and take them down.
- Lethal – C4: The C4 is a better choice for explosives with this build, as you can pre-place them to catch your enemies off-guard.
- Field upgrade – Sleeper Agent: You infiltrate the enemy team and appear as one of their own. While in this state, you can also tap into their voice comms to support your disguise.
