Bolt-action snipers are one of the most powerful weapons in the battlefield, and the LR 7.62 carries the same energy in Black Ops 6.

The LR 762 on its own is capable enough to take down opponents from afar. Even though that is the case, there’s still room for improvement to take the weapon to new heights.

Another advantage of the LR 762 holds is its low recoil, making it very stable to use and aim with. So, how about we add some touch-ups to the bolt-action sniper with this guide?

LR 762 makes for a great bolt-action sniper, but the only downside is its rate of fire. This isn’t an issue, as it can adjusted with attachments available in the game.

With this loadout, we focus on improving the gun’s aim down sight (ADS) speed.

With both rate of fire and ADS speed sorted, the LR 762 is unbeatable in Multiplayer mode. Let’s look at the attachments required to make the bolt-action sniper better:

Short Barrel is a must-have if you want to keep your movement smooth while using the LR 762. This attachment increases jumping ADS and jumping sprint to fire speed.

For recoil control, we use the Ported Compensator. This attachment greatly reduces the first shot recoil as well as vertical recoil, allowing you to aim at your next target right after shooting once.

To reduce the ADS time further, equip the Quickdraw Grip. Since this loadout allows for running and gunning, this attachment comes in handy with the bolt-action sniper.

To increase the rechamber speed and fire rate, slot in the Rapid Fire mod. However, using this degrades the bullet velocity, horizontal recoil, and vertical recoil control. But since the LR 762 has a great damage output, using the Rapid Fire mod won’t matter much.

For ammo management, pick the Extended Mag 1 to increase bullet count. This helps you take gunfights longer without the need for reloading.

You can also pick Fast Mag 1 if you wish to boost reload, aim down sight, and sprint to fire speed. But you’ll have to sacrifice ammo capacity, which is already low with the bolt-action rifle.
