In the base variant, the weapon can achieve a one-shot kill up to 9.4 meters which is an impressive range that rivals shotguns from Modern Warfare, like the Logwood 680 with a barrel attachment. Adding a long barrel boosts the one-shot kill range to approximately 10.5 meters which gives the firearm more versatility.

But that’s not even all. Marine SP is also well known for its reliability because this shotgun remains consistent and powerful even with slugs which makes it ideal for close-quarters combat.

However, the one major downside of Marine SP is its sprint-to-fire speed. As it stands, the Marine SP has a relatively slow sprint-to-fire speed that can feel frustrating, especially when compared to SMGs. It’s possible to address this slightly with attachments but it remains a noticeable disadvantage.

ASG-89, on the other hand, is a semi-auto shotgun that was unavailable in the beta. It offers a different style of play with its moderate 188 rounds-per-minute rate of fire. While this slower rate is a challenge, it makes the ASG 89 ideal for tactical players who like to pace their shots.
