SMGs in Black Ops 6 are extremely fast, deadly weapons that can quickly annihilate your target. They offer a high fire rate and are excellent for close-range combat.
In this ONE Esports guide, we’ll let you know about the best SMGs in Black Ops 6 so you can dominate close-quarter combat.
Black Ops 6 SMGs tier list
The game currently offers six SMGs to choose from, with more expected to be added through future updates and DLCs. However, not all of them are worth using, as some may put you at a disadvantage against your enemies.
Best SMGs in Black Ops 6
Here are three SMGs that we recommend using in Black Ops 6 before Season 1.
KSV
The KSV is an exceptionally powerful SMG that performs well right out of the box, even without attachments. However, with the right attachments, you can make it even more formidable.
This weapon has a base ammo capacity of 30 rounds and a fire rate of 800 rounds per minute – the highest among all the SMGs on our list.
The only downside about this SMG is its damage range. However, if you opt for our recommended KSV loadout, you can improve its accuracy, magazine size, and, most importantly, damage range.
Jackal PDW
The second weapon on our list is the Jackal PDW. If you played the Black Ops 6 beta, you already know how popular this weapon was back then. It hasn’t lost its charm in the full version of the game, as it’s still deadly in close-range combat.
At its base level, this weapon has a fire rate of 682 rounds per minute and holds 30 bullets in its magazine, which is standard for most SMGs.
The developers did make adjustments to its performance in the full version, but nothing that the right Jackal PDW loadout can’t fix.
C9
The MP5 has remained a popular weapon in the previous Call of Duty games, and the C9 takes its place in Black Ops 6. This SMG is fast, reliable, and packs enough power to help you bag in kills quickly.
For starters, it has a base fire rate of 732 rounds per minute and holds 30 bullets in its magazine. The weapon can be a bit challenging to control at first due to its recoil, but the right attachments can improve its handling.
The best part is that the C9 is unlocked by default, making it the first SMG you’ll use in the game. Even though it’s a starting weapon, you can turn it into a lethal SMG with the attachments in our best C9 loadout guide.
This was everything you needed to know about the best SMGs in Black Ops 6.
