The SVD sniper rifle is frowned upon when it comes to stock usage, however, with some polishing it works as a great long-range firearm. In Black Ops 6, there are a total of three sniper rifles – among them, the SVD fails to stand out.
To bring forward the sniper rifle’s unfound potential, we have put together this best SVD loadout in Black Ops 6 guide for you. All the required attachments, perks, gadgets, and more will be explained thoroughly.
Best SVD loadout in Black Ops 6
However, the SVD is a type of sniper rifle that caters to players who are beginners to sniping in shooter games. The SVD is a semi-automatic sniper that can take down its opponent with a minimum of two body shots with a higher rate of fire compared to other snipers.
Best attachments for SVD loadout in Black Ops 6
SVD remains slightly on the weaker side when other snipers are taken into consideration, so the weapon has to be improved in other ways to make it viable for certain scenarios. The only time SVD can stand out is while quickly scoping and hitting targets that are too fast to keep up with.
Thus, our loadout will be focusing on improving the quick-scoping capabilities and making it more responsive. Here’s how the loadout works:
SLOT | ATTACHMENT |
Comb | Quickdraw Riser |
Muzzle | Ported Compensator |
Barrel | Reinforced Barrel |
Stock | Heavy Stock |
Fire Mods | 7.62x54mmR FMJ |
For starters, the scope of SVD is good enough and fine as it is. Instead, attach a Quickdraw Riser to make the aim down sight speed faster. This will help you quickly mark your enemies and hunt them.
To enhance the weapon stability, we’ll be using a Heavy Stock as it reduces the swaying while scoping. If you’re fine with it, then you can swap it with Fast Mag 1 for faster reloading. You can also add a scope of your choice to fit your preference.
For the muzzle, pick the Ported Compensator as it stabilizes the weapon recoil a lot, and will let you stay scoped without losing visuals on target. But if you wish, you can try out other muzzles and pick which one fits your playstyle the most.
Making these small changes is enough to make the weapon feel better, but we’re not done yet.
To improve the damage output of the weapon, pick the Reinforced Barrel as it increases the bullet velocity as well. You can also swap it with CHF Barrel, but that increases ADS time – which is not recommended.
Lastly, add a 7.62x54mmR FMJ fire mod to improve SVD’s penetrative qualities and improve the damage multiplier. There might be moments where you can kill two enemies with just one shot.
Best perks for SVD in Black Ops 6
Not any kind of perk combo will work fine with SVD sniper rifle, rather it has to be compatible with the build.
Since this build is based on a sniper, playing it slow is the right call. So here are the perks that would work the best:
- Perk 1 – Ghost: This perk allows you to remain undetectable to Scout Pulse and UAVs while moving. Additionally, you’re also undetectable by Prox Alarms.
- Perk 2 – Engineer: You can see the enemy equipment and scorestreaks through walls. Not only that you can also see the enemy scorestreak icon on the minimap as well.
- Perk 3 – Vigilance: You get alerted by a HUD icon whenever you’re detected on enemy minimaps. You’re also immune to Sleeper Agent, CUAV, and Scrambler.
- Specialty – Recon: Enemies are visible through the wall for a short time after respawning. The minimap HUD edge also flashes when enemies are outside your view.
- Wildcard – Danger Close: Gives you one extra Lethal Equipment at spawn.
Best secondaries and gadgets to pick with this loadout
Every professional sniper needs a pocket-friendly pistol and some gadgets to protect their back. These are the pistol and gadget picks that go hand in hand with this loadout:
- Pistol – Grekhova: Full-auto pistol that compensates for the lower rate of fire of the sniper.
- Melee – Knife: This allows you to one-hit kill enemies in extremely close combat situations.
- Tactical – Stim Shot: Fully regenerates your health and refills the Tactical Sprint.
- Lethal – Semtex: Powerful explosive grenade that sticks to any surface it lands on.
- Field Upgrade – Trophy System: Anti-projectile machinery that stops any kind of throwable from hurting you.
This loadout will help you use the SVD with ease in Black Ops 6 and earn you many kills. Keep in mind, that you’ll have to be patient with your movement instead of running around.
