The XM4 is an assault rifle in Black Ops 6 that’s unlocked by default. Even though it’s one of the first weapons available, it can help you dominate matches, especially when paired with the best attachments.

In this ONE Esports guide, we provide you with the best XM4 loadout so you can maximize the potential of this assault rifle.

Best XM4 loadout in Black Ops 6

The XM4 has a high fire rate by default, so the attachments we are using focus on boosting its recoil control and accuracy.

Additionally, they help the weapon become more effective in long-range combat.

  • Muzzle: Muzzle Brake
  • Barrel: Long Barrel
  • Underbarrel: Ranger Foregrip
  • Mag: Extended Mag II
  • Rear grip: Commando Grip
  • Stock: Heavy Stock

For the Muzzle, we’ve decided to go with the Muzzle Brake, as this significantly improves the weapon’s fire shot recoil control and kick reset speed, leading to better accuracy.

We’re pairing this with the Long Barrel, which significantly increases the damage range, allowing you to deal damage to distant enemies.

Next, to further improve the accuracy as well as the mobility, we’re using the Ranger Foregrip. This enhances horizontal recoil control and sprinting movement speed.

For the magazine, choose the Extended Mag II, which increases ammo capacity from 30 to 60 rounds. While this affects aim-down sight speed and sprint-to-fire speed, you can make up for those with the Commando Grip. However, keep in mind that it still reduces your reload speed.

Finally, we’ve opted for the Heavy Stock. This strengthens your operator’s resistance to flinching, which will lead to better accuracy.

We didn’t include an optic because you should pick the one that best suits your playstyle.

For example, if you prefer something minimal, the Merlin Mini might be a good choice. However, for mid to long-range combat, you’re better off using something like the PrismaTech 4X.
