Will there be Black Ops 6 early access?

The seventh entry in the Black Ops franchise, Call of Duty Black Ops 6, is ready for its global launch on October 25th. However, there have been no words on early access, making players question whether Black Ops 6 is getting early access for Campaign, Multiplayer, or Zombies modes.

As you may already know, Black Ops 6 is the first major game to be released after Microsoft’s massive $69 billion acquisition of Activision, bringing the game also on Gamepass on day one.

That said, since the recent reboot of Modern Warfare games did offer early access to its Campaign, many players are expecting the same from Black Ops 6.

But this year, under Microsoft, the plans have changed!

Sadly, the answer to the above question is no! Black Ops 6 is not getting early access for its Campaign, Multiplayer, or Zombies modes.

In a response to CharlieIntel, Activision confirmed that there will be no early access for Black Ops 6 as they focus on a massive global launch.

Here is what one of Activision’s representative had to say to CharlieIntel:

“The team is fully focused on October 25th. We are excited about all the game has to offer across Campaign, Multiplayer and Zombies. This year, we made the decision to ensure the community gets to dig in to any and all modes that they want at the same time, so we are back to one massive global launch moment October 25th. As such, there is no Early Access beat this year for Black Ops 6, just the countdown to launch.”

There has been no official statement on whether it was Microsoft’s decision not to have early access to the Black Ops 6 Campaign or any other modes in the wake of the Gamepass release or whether it was from Activision’s end.

But we know that Black Ops 6 will not get any early access, no matter which edition you buy.

So, sadly, if you were looking to complete the main Campaign ahead of the game’s official launch to hop directly into the Zombies or Multiplayer game modes, that is not happening.
